Our Custom Inground Pool Process

Understanding that there are different options for inground swimming pools is an important first step. As most contractors specialize in one type of pool installation; Evergreen offers all three options. By not limiting ourselves to one type of inground pool, we can create beautiful retreats for any type of budget. Our team will walk you through the design build process, and find the perfect solution that will meet your families needs. We take pride in offering the best possible solutions that align with our clients goals and dreams. With over 10,000 installations in our portfolio; there is nothing we haven’t seen. Let our design team guide you through the process and help you make the most informed decision possible.

Step 1.

Which inground pool best suits your needs

Fiberglass pools are pre-made shells that are constructed in a factory.  The process utilizes molds in which the fiberglass is shaped and finished.

They are shipped on a truck to your home for installation.  Although there is not a lot of customization, fiberglass pools have the quickest installation time, and can be installed within a couple of days.

While fiberglass pool buyers were once limited to a few shapes and colors; the more modern fiberglass pools come in many shapes, sizes and colors.  Fiberglass pools tend to be a more budget friendly option when comparing the other alternatives.

We partner with Swim USA to guarantee the highest quality pool with the best warranty in the industry.

Concrete pools are built from reinforced steel shells; sprayed with gunite which is then plastered to the desired color and texture. Gunite pools use a rebar framework that is sprayed with a cement and sand mexture-a process that is completely customizable and design possibilities are limitless.

Gunite pools are extremely durable and can last for decades with the proper maintenance.  Gunite pools take the longest amount of time to install due to the need for the shell to properly cure before plaster is installed. Gunite pools tend to be the most expensive of the three options.

A vinyl liner pool features a sheet of vinyl between the water and the pool structure. Vinyl liners typically lock their top edge, called a bead, into a track located on the bottom of the coping.

Underneath the liner is a sand or vermiculite floor, pending what is used for the structure.

Liner pools tend to be less expensive; however, require more maintenance over time. Liners will need to be replaced more frequently than other pool surfaces. You will need to be extremely careful if you have pets that like to swim, as liners are susceptible to tears.

Installation of a vinyl liner pool can be completed within a couple of weeks.

Step 2.

Consultation

Your consultation with the Evergreen Design Team will be the start of your journey. They will work through all of the details for your custom swimming pool design. From type of pool, shape, location on the property, material colors, equipment location, etc.; our design team will walk you through every step of the process. Depending on the setting, they may recommend natural stone products, water features and even fire bowls. We always take into account the architecture of the home to create an environment that matches the space.

Step 3.

Construction

Once we finalize the details and go through the permitting process, we are ready for construction to begin. Our proprietary software will generate a project timeline outlining the pool construction process; which will give you an overview of what’s to come. This is done to ensure your inground swimming pool project comes in on time and on budget. This is an exciting time for you and your family, and our team will do everything possible to make this experience as pleasant as possible.

Maintenance And Upkeep

With proper maintenance and upkeep your new pool will last a lifetime. Today’s pools are virtually maintenance free. With the addition of an auto-cleaner, salt water system and automation; maintaining your new pool will be a breeze. These features will allow you to spend more time in the pool instead of working on the pool. Water chemistry is extremely important in protecting your pools finish. Each type of pool will have different maintenance requirements, so our team will help you protect your investment by making sure you have the know how you need to keep your pool in tip top shape.
